Are you interested in helping people with developmental disabilities direct their own lives and services? Do you speak a language other than English? If you answered yes to both, here's a great opportunity to get started. The Autism Society of Los Angeles and Disability Voices United are offering free intensive independent facilitator trainings for people who speak languages other then English.

Supported Decision-Making Focus Groups
Saturday, February 22 - San Bernardino (Spanish) 10 am -12 pm
Wednesday, March 11 - Orange County (English) 12 - 2 pm
Thursday, March 19 - Stockton (Spanish) 6 - 8 pm
Sunday, March 22 - San Jose (English) 10 am - 12 pm
- The parent of a child with a developmental disability aged 12 or older who is not conserved?
- Interested in sharing your views about your child’s future in a confidential discussion group that will help us develop educational materials?
- Interested in receiving a $25 Target gift card for 2 hours of your time?
If you answered "yes" to all of the above, you may be eligible to participate in a Supported Decision-Making Focus Group, sponsored by Disability Voices United.
